The wind has finally laid off and the Lake looks great. Thursday afternoon was a good bite for shallow walleye. Spinners and reefs in pinks and purples are still working. Guys running out to the North side of the bar are finding good numbers of fish. The shallow reef bite is still on but very early morning or late afternoons are proving the best times. Perch reports are starting to trickle in, but the guys that dont know any better are letting the lack of shiners ruin they're day. The guys that are using frozen are still producing limits in 34-38 feet. Rough water and full moon will keep most from getting shiners the next few days. Size of perch is still mainly in the 7" to 10"with a few bigger fish mixed in. Steelhead are still north of the boarder but should return in the next few weeks.
