Walleye fishing in Lorain is still as good as it gets the long run to the buoy is defiantly worth it. Lots of big fish have showed up the last few days. Worm harnesses in purples and pink with colored backs are taking
alot of fish. Reef Runners in green flash as well as pinks are also taking they're share.
Perch fishing is spotty at best with big fish very hard to find, but we should
expect things to pick up the next few days.
White bass fishing along the shore has remained good but will be winding down.

Walleye fishing has remained great North of the bar in Lorain as well as big pockets of fish on the inside. This past week we decided to take a day off from running to the buoy and spent time in 26-41 feet and found fish in nice pockets threw-out. Reef Runner green flash was best with other bare nakeds working almost as good. Harnesses in purple demon, pretty panties as well as Patrick have all been hot.
Steelhead trollers are also hitting fish all the way from Lorain threw Cleveland from the
42 line North. Orange or Pink Silver Streak or Stingers are working great.
***Remember you can't release these fish so only catch what you need***.
Perch fishing is still good from 34-42 feet from Beaver to Avon Point.
Plenty of shiners have shown up the last few days.
White Bass fishing is keeping the guys on shore busy with fish ranging from 10 to 14".

The fishing really was the highlight of the event with anglers all reporting catches of 40plus fish a day and with 4 rods thats some great fishing. Most guys ran 2-3 oz inlines with pinks and purple blades working the best. The rest ran Reef Runners in purple demon ,purple sunfire ,burnt muffin, pink panties and pink lemonaid. Everyone ran baits 24-32 feet down with the weather bouy being the top spot but the edges of the bar also taking fish.
Perch fishing has been great from Beaver Creek to Avon Point in 35-42 feet with limits of nice fish being caught everyday.
Looks like another great week to be fishing Lake Erie!
