With weather finally helping out perch and walleye fishing are picking up. Both seem dependent on clean water and stable weather. In the Avon Lake -Lorain area look for perch in 32-43 feet and walleyes are spread from 16 to 43 feet. Spoons ,cranks and harnesses all had their place this week end. Look foe fish in top 15 feet or tight to the bottem.

Looks like we finally have a great weekend in front of us. Perch fishing should remain strong in 28-42 feet. Lorain to Avon Point have had real nice catches the last few weeks. Walleye fishing with some stable weather should get better. Normally at this time of year they can be found in as tight as 16 feet working reefs and rock points. They can also be found in open water schools in 26 to 42 feet. Reef Runners and worm harnesses should be your best bet.
Jeff Seyka and Greg Yarbough win MWC Lake Erie tournament in Sandusky. It took a 2 day 10 fish weight of 84.54 Pounds to win!
Looks like the next few days will bring us a flat lake and a chance to get out on Lake Erie. The lake will be off color and may take some searching to find clean water. Walleyes should be found along the Huron/Vermilion shore-line all the way threw Cleveland. Reef Runners will should
still be your top choice. Perch should put on the feed bag after all this rough weather. 37 to 52 feet should be top depths. Good Luck to all the MWC guys this week-end.

Jeff Graves leading the FLW on today the final day ,we all wish him luck. These guys have shown how good walleye fishing can be on Lake Erie with a 2 day 10 fish total of 82 pounds 9 ounces. Perch fishing is also heating up with limits being caught everyday.

Perch fishing off Lorain and Avon has picked up. 40 to 52 feet are the best depths this weekend. Walleye fishing during the day is still tough with the shift in barometer everyday. Stable weather should make everything better. Night bite walleye is still producing fish every night but numbers are still low by most standards.

Looks like this latest rain will once again blow rivers out. This could very well be the last sign of steel head we see till next fall. Night walleye is in full swing ,shore casters and trollers are all catching fish. Purple perch and pink clown huskies as well as a variety of bare naked are working well.Vermilion to Cleveland are all reporting fish.
